It is important to mention that, currently, the rise of legal psychology in general and its applied aspect, that is, forensic psychology, is a verifiable reality because the role of the forensic psychologist contributes in the judicial field at the time that it issues its evaluation or dissertations on the psychological sequels that affect or not the procedural parties in any judicial process, therefore, contribute to the assessment made the court.La presente investigación titulada “Campos de intervención y competencias del Psicólogo Jurídico y Forense en el Ecuador”, observa la línea de investigación exploratoria, enmarcada por la Universidad de Otavalo del Ecuador.
