Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación se inicia con el objetivo de resaltar el potencial turístico y gozar de un ambiente agradable y tranquilo rodeado de la naturaleza y su clima fresco hace de Cotacachi su carta de presentación, debido a sus paisajes que existe en el lugar este es un sitio ideal para las personas que les encanta realizar una variedad de turismo tanto como de compras en la zona comercial, turismo ecológico y sobre todo para las personas que desean tomarse un descanso fuera de la ciudad. El turista por lo general siempre desea explorar y conocer algo nuevo. Como dato curioso cabe indicar que este balneario de agua mineral es un sitio ceremonial de la cultura indígena de la comunidad de Ashambuela, que celebran su ritual en las festividades del Inty Raymi este paraíso se encuentra a 10 minutos de la cabecera cantonal de Cotacachi aquí se puede degustar la comida típica del Cantón entre ellas las famosas Carnes coloradas, el Hornado, la Fritada de cerdo entre otras, con el propósito de dinamizar el turismo del sector en especial el de recreación hemos puesto en marcha el plan de reactivación turística el complejo recreacional “Yanayacu” del cantón Cotacachi haciendo énfasis en la publicad y alianzas estratégicas con diferentes instituciones educativas de la provincia y así aportar al desarrollo del cantón y sus habitantes directa e indirectamente.

The present research work was initiated with the goal of the tourism potential in Cotacachi and enjoy a nice quiet atmosphere surrounded by nature and its fresh weather that makes Cotacachi its presentation, because of its landscape that exists in the place that is ideal for people who love to perform a variety of tourism like shopping in the commercial area, ecological tourism and especially for people who want to take a break outside the city. Tourists usually always want to explore and learn something new. A curious fact should be noted that this spa is a ceremonial site of the indigenous culture of the community called Ashambuela, celebrating their ritual in the festivals of Inti Raymi. This paradise is 10 minutes from the Cotacachi´s down town here you can taste the typical food of the city like the famous carne colarada, hornado, fritada, dishes cooked with pork, with a view to boost tourism in Cotacachi, especially the recreation tourism, we have implemented the plan of tourism reactivation in the recreational complex called "Yanayacu" in Cotacachi, emphasizing in the publish and strategic alliances with different educational institutions in the Imbabura province, in this way contribute to the development of the canton.
