| Resumen : | El presente artículo presenta un análisis sobre la deserción escolar que tiene por objetivo conocer las causas de la deserción escolar antes y durante la pandemia por COVI-19 en la Unidad Educativa Misión Andina, con el firme propósito de abordarla y brindar propuestas de mejora en beneficio de la comunidad educativa, en la Unidad Educativa Misión Andina. Para llegar a esta investigación se utilizó la metodología inductiva y deductiva con un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, para obtener la información se utiliza el tipo de investigación documental-bibliográfico y de campo, revisando diferentes fuentes bibliográficas y de campo por que se abordó a la población; la técnica que se utilizó es una encuesta tanto a docentes como a estudiantes y su instrumento para realizar fue un cuestionario. La investigación tiene varios puntos que son: en el primer capítulo se realiza una breve referencia a la problemática y la justificación de la investigación, así como la revisión de la literatura que precise el estado de la cuestión; en el segundo capítulo menciona la metodología utilizada, se detalla el método, materiales y recursos; el tercer capítulo refleja los resultados aplicados a la población. Las conclusiones de la investigación determinaron que existen estudiantes que desertaron del sistema educativo, donde la principal causa es el factor económico; Finalmente, los resultados de la investigación recogen datos sobre la situación actual de la unidad educativa sobre el abandono educativo, creando una propuesta para reducir el índice de deserción escolar que involucra a todos los actores de la comunidad educativa |

| Descripción : | This article presents an analysis of school dropout that aims to know the causes of school dropout before and during the COVI-19 pandemic in the Andean Mission Educational Unit, with the firm purpose of addressing it and providing improvement proposals for the benefit of the educational community, which has emerged before and during the pandemic in the Andean Mission Educational Unit. To arrive at this research, the inductive and deductive methodology was used with a qualitative and quantitative approach, to obtain the information, the type of documentary-bibliographic and field research was used, reviewing different bibliographic and field sources because the population was approached.; the technique that was used is a survey of both teachers and students and its instrument to carry out was a questionnaire. The investigation has several points that are: in the first chapter a brief reference is made to the problem and the justification of the investigation, as well as the review of the literature that specifies the state of the matter; in the second chapter mentions the methodology used, the method, materials and resources are detailed; the third chapter reflects the results applied to the population. The conclusions of the investigation determined that there are students who dropped out of the educational system, where the main cause is the economic factor; Finally, the results of the research collect data on the current situation of the educational unit on educational abandonment, creating a proposal to reduce the dropout rate. |
