Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurobehavioral condition that significantly affects the academic, social and emotional development of children, particularly in the school environment. Among the main challenges faced by children with ADHD is impulse control, a fundamental skill for adaptation in the educational environment. The lack of adequate psychoeducational tools and strategies can hinder their integration, generating behavioral problems that impact not only on their learning, but also on the general dynamics of the classroom. The general objective of this study was to analyze theoretically the psychoeducational strategies that can improve impulse control in 10-year-old children with ADHD in the educational context. Therefore, a methodology with a qualitative approach was applied, through a descriptive level, with a documentary research, using the technique of theoretical documentary review in order to develop this research work four key categories were worked: the behavioral difficulties that affect their school adaptation, the implementation of psychoeducational strategies such as positive reinforcement and self-regulation, the benefits of these strategies in academic performance and coexistence, and the analysis of the specific challenges they face in their schooling. This comprehensive approach allowed us to perform a theoretical analysis of 35 bibliographic sources including academic articles, digital repositories reaching the conclusion that psychoeducational strategies are presented as a viable solution to address these difficulties, offering structured approaches that promote self-regulation and proper impulse management.
