ABSTRACT Entrepreneurship is an activity that drives the economy and generates employment opportunities. In Ecuador, there is a high entrepreneurial spirit that combines both opportunity and necessity-driven motivations. However, this sector has been impacted by the global health pandemic. In February 2020, the National Assembly of Ecuador approved the Organic Law for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This law aims to promote the efficiency and competitiveness of entrepreneurs and implement new corporate forms, such as Simplified Stock Companies (SAS). Furthermore, on November 21, 2021, the Organic Law for Economic Development and Fiscal Sustainability was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This law establishes the Simplified Regime for Entrepreneurs and Popular Businesses (RIMPE), which simplifies income tax payment for entrepreneurs and popular businesses. Nevertheless, many entrepreneurs, including NYUSU entrepreneurship, are unfamiliar with the administrative, financial, and tax processes they need to follow when starting their businesses. For this reason, a research project is proposed to compile the administrative, accounting, and tax procedures applicable to businesses in the Ecuadorian context into a single document. The objective is to provide entrepreneurs with a tool that helps them understand their obligations as individuals or legal entities in Ecuador without the need for an accounting background. The research methodology used is documentary and descriptive, involving a literature review of current legal regulations and the administrative processes that entrepreneurs should consider. The research approach is qualitative. The ultimate result will be the creation of a guide that will serve as a reference for various entrepreneurs. In other words, this document will enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of entrepreneurs, contributing to the strengthening of the entrepreneurial sector and its impact on the country's economy.
