dc.description	The current plan of Grade’s Project of the APPLICATION OF SYSTEM OF WITNESS PROTECTION, will realize in Otavalo city. This topic gets importance with the reform in Criminal System and Procedural, it ensured for Constitution of year 2008, holding like main tool the system of victim and witness protection. Over that precedent, in 2007 there was a multiple killing at Ranch called “Campo Serio”, it located in San Francisco community, Selva Alegre parish, Otavalo canton, where there was a witness, who was the only survivor. This witness was received to system of victim and witness protection of Imbabura County, because he was afraid today posible attacks against him physical, psychological and moral integrity. His testimony was basic to explain the events and to identic ate to the authors of crime. Therefore, it will study the viability and feasibility of the foundation of a Center of Witness Protection in Otavalo city; this will help to better the application, efficiency and celerity of the criminal process.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El presente plan de proyecto de grado cuyo tema es la APLICACIÓN DEL SISTEMA DE PROTECCION A TESTIGOS se realizará en el Cantón Otavalo. Este tema toma su relevancia por la reforma del sistema penal y procesal penal, garantizado por la Constitución de la República del Ecuador expedida en el año 2008, teniendo como herramienta principal el Sistema de Protección a Víctimas y Testigos. Con este antecedente, en el año 2007 se produce un asesinato múltiple en la Hacienda Campo Serio, ubicada en la comunidad San Francisco, parroquia Selva Alegre, cantón Otavalo, provincia de Imbabura, en el cual existió un sobreviviente quien denuncia lo ocurrido ante la Fiscalía de Imbabura, Cantón Otavalo, mismo que voluntariamente se acogió al Sistema de Protección a Testigos de la Provincia de Imbabura constituyéndose como pieza fundamental para esclarecer los hechos, identificar a los autores, y por temor a posibles atentados contra de su integridad física, psicológica y moral y de su familia.	es_ES
