Análisis comparativo del impacto económico de la minería en el Ecuador y Perú

Abstract

El desarrollo de este Proyecto se basa en analizar el impacto económico positivo o negativo que tiene la Minería dentro del territorio nacional, sabiendo que este tema en muy controversial y conflictivo señalado por los gremios activistas del medio ambiente y cuestionan si se toma en cuenta a la población en general para aceptar este tipo de trabajos en las zonas y sectores naturales. También se debe considerar las obras realizadas en pro del bienestar territorial, sabiendo que este tipo de trabajo afecta en gran parte a la naturaleza y por ende afecta al medio ambiente; de tal manera se puede definir el problema: ¿En qué medida aporta la empresa minera del ecuador en el desarrollo socioeconómico, tributario y financiero del país? Para despejar esta problemática se analiza el impacto económico dentro del país frente a nuestro vecino país del Perú, teniendo como base que la minería es legal en un 37% del total en su territorio y que el aporte al PIB en su país es del 17,20% a noviembre del año 2022. Como objetivo general de esta investigación será identificar el impacto económico del sector minero en el Ecuador, por medio de un análisis comparativo del sistema minero frente al país del Perú, para comprender cuan beneficioso será ampliar o no su legalidad para ser explotado. De igual manera los métodos de investigación se realizarán con datos reales de la población tanto ecuatoriana y peruana, para definir si la minería es un recurso positivo sin que se perjudique el medio ambiente de la flora fauna de los sectores explotados.Abstract The development of this Project is based on analyzing the positive or negative economic impact that Mining has within the national territory, knowing that this issue is very controversial and conflictive, pointed out by environmental activist unions and they question whether it is taken into account to the general population to accept this type of work in natural areas and sectors. The works carried out in favor of territorial well-being should also be considered, knowing that this type of work largely affects nature and therefore affects the environment; In this way, the problem can be defined: To what extent does the Ecuadorian mining company contribute to the socioeconomic, ¿tax and financial development of the country? To clear up this problem, the economic impact within the country compared to our neighboring country of Peru is analyzed, based on the fact that mining is legal in 37% of the total in its territory and that the contribution to GDP in its country is 17, 20% as of November 2022. The general objective of this research will be to identify the economic impact of the mining sector in Ecuador, through a comparative analysis of the mining system against the country of Peru, to understand how beneficial it will be to expand or not its legality to be exploited. In the same way, the research methods will be carried out with real data from both the Ecuadorian and Peruvian population, to define if mining is a positive resource without harming the environment of the flora and fauna of the exploited sectors.
