Resumen
El objetivo de este trabajo es diseñar un plan para la creación de un espacio psicopedagógico en la Universidad de Otavalo, que sirva como lugar de prácticas académicas para estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Pedagógicas. Este espacio se diseñará a partir de un análisis de los contenidos y competencias que se necesitan para cumplir con el perfil de egreso de la carrera, tomando también en cuenta las necesidades específicas identificadas a partir de la retroalimentación de estudiantes que ya han completado sus prácticas. De esta manera, la investigación buscó abordar las dificultades relacionadas con las prácticas académicas y la ausencia de un espacio formal para aplicar los conocimientos adquiridos. Para lograr este objetivo, se utilizó una metodología cuantitativa que incluyó la aplicación de una encuesta en línea a los estudiantes de sexto a octavo semestres, lo que permitió identificar de manera precisa sus necesidades. Los resultados obtenidos establecen las bases para el diseño de un espacio psicopedagógico que incluya áreas para educación básica, educación inicial, psicología educativa, así como un área conjunta y de recepción. Además, se reveló un interés significativo en la creación de un espacio psicopedagógico dentro de la universidad, que permita realizar prácticas académicas y fortalezca el perfil de egreso de los estudiantes. Finalmente, las conclusiones destacaron la importancia de diseñar un modelo de gestión eficiente y sostenible para este espacio psicopedagógico. Este modelo debe integrar aspectos clave como la organización, coordinación, supervisión y evaluación de las prácticas académicas, para asegurar que los objetivos de formación establecidos en el perfil de egreso se cumplan adecuadamente.
The objective of this study is to design a plan for the creation of a psychopedagogical space at the University of Otavalo, which will serve as a place for academic internships for students from the Faculty of Social and Pedagogical Sciences. This space will be designed based on an analysis of the content and competencies that students need to meet the graduation profile of their degree, also taking into account the specific needs that the students who have already completed their internships identified in their feedback. In this way, the research aimed to address the difficulties related to academic internships and the lack of a formal space to apply their knowledge. To achieve this objective, a quantitative methodology was used that included the application of an online survey to students from the sixth to the eighth semesters, which allowed an accurate identification of their needs. The obtained results establish the basis for the design of a psychopedagogical space that includes areas for basic education, early childhood education, educational psychology, as well as a shared area and reception. Additionally, a significant interest was revealed in the creation of a psychopedagogical space within the university, which would allow academic internships and strengthen the students' graduation profile. Finally, the conclusions emphasized the importance of designing an efficient and sustainable management model for this psychopedagogical space. This model should integrate key aspects such as organization, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of academic internships to ensure that the training objectives set out in the graduation profile are properly met.
