Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo el identificar aquellas herramientas
tecnológicas que facilitaron el aprendizaje en los estudiantes de la Universidad de Otavalo
durante el año 2021 en tiempos de covid 19, por lo cual se consideraron los siguientes
objetivos específicos: el primero se enfocó en el proceso de aprendizaje en la institución
objeto de estudio en tiempos de covid 19, el segundo se ubicó en los tipos de aprendizaje
bajo la modalidad de la educación en línea y el tercero fue relacionado al uso de herramientas
tecnológicas para el mejoramiento del aprendizaje de la educación superior en tiempos de
covid 19, esta investigación fue de tipo descriptiva con un enfoque cuantitativo que permitió
obtener información necesaria a través de encuestas dirigidas al personal docente y
estudiantes de la institución de la cual se tomó una muestra de 100 estudiantes y 60 docentes.
Como resultado de la investigación existen por mejorar las metodologías utilizadas por los
docentes, creando nuevas expectativas en las que se busca mayor conocimiento de forma
eficiente y efectiva , comenzando desde la institución da través de un análisis en el cual se
identifiquen las fortalezas y debilidades que poseen tanto en infraestructura, como personal
docente, estudiantes a los que va dirigido esta nueva propuesta, en base a esto se puede
determinar dichos cambios e implementar recursos que sean necesarios para elevar el nivel
académico de los estudiantes de manera virtual y posterior a ello de manera presencial.

The objective of this research was to identify those technological tools that facilitated
learning in the students of the University of Otavalo during the year 2021 in times of covid
19, for which the following specific objectives were considered: the first focused on the
process of learning in the institution under study in times of covid 19, the second was located
in the types of learning under the modality of online education and the third was related to
the use of technological tools to improve learning in higher education In times of covid 19,
this research was descriptive with a quantitative approach that allowed obtaining necessary
information through surveys directed at the teaching staff and students of the institution from
which a sample of 100 students and 60 teachers was taken. As a result of the research, there
is a need to improve the methodologies used by teachers, creating new expectations in which
greater knowledge is sought efficiently and effectively, starting from the institution through
an analysis in which the strengths and weaknesses that They have both infrastructure,
teaching staff, students to whom this new proposal is directed, based on this, these changes
can be determined and resources that are necessary to raise the academic level of students in
a virtual way and after that, implement resources. face-to-face manner.
