Resumen
El uso de las TIC durante el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, por parte de los docentes de la Unidad Educativa Puerto Quito, es evidente, a pesar de que existe escasas oportunidades para ser capacitados de manera continua, el nulo equipamiento con medios tecnológicos en las aulas, acompañadas con una deficiente red de internet, ha dificultado los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje a los docentes. La investigación fue desarrollada en la provincia de Pichincha, Cantón Puerto Quito, en la Unidad Educativa Puerto Quito, con el objetivo de determinar la importancia del uso de las TIC como herramienta de refuerzo en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en la asignatura de Agrotecnología en los estudiantes de Bachillerato Técnico Agropecuario. El enfoque de esta investigación fue de carácter cuantitativo, mediante la aplicación de encuestas dirigidas a los docentes y estudiantes de la institución. Luego de haber realizado la investigación se concluyó que los docentes deben fortalecer sus conocimientos en el uso de las TIC mediante talleres de capacitación, equipar las aulas con medios tecnológicos, acceso a internet para mejorar la práctica docente, implementar estrategias y actividades que incluyan la utilización de las TIC que permitan mejorar la calidad educativa en los estudiantes.
The use of ICT during the teaching and learning process, by the teachers of the Puerto Quito Educational Unit, is evident, despite the fact that there are few opportunities to be trained continuously, the null equipment with technological means in the classrooms, accompanied by a poor internet network, has hindered the teaching-learning processes for teachers. The research was developed in the province of Pichincha, Puerto Quito Canton, in the Puerto Quito Educational Unit, with the aim of determining the importance of the use of ICT as a reinforcement tool in the teaching and learning process in the subject of Agrotechnology in Agricultural Technical Baccalaureate students. The focus of this research was quantitative, through the application of surveys directed at teachers and students of the institution. After having carried out the investigation, it was concluded that teachers should strengthen their knowledge in the use of ICT through training workshops, equip classrooms with technological means, access to the Internet to improve teaching practice, implement strategies and activities that include the use of ICTs that allow improving the educational quality of students.
