Resumen
En el contexto de la rehabilitación de adolescentes por consumo de drogas dentro del proceso educativo se realiza acciones de seguimiento y acompañamiento, sin embargo, el rol del profesional encargado dentro de este proceso no está claramente definido, ya que no se identifican con precisión las competencias necesarias para desempeñarse adecuadamente. Esta situación motivó la presente investigación, cuyo objetivo fue analizar la función del especialista en educación psicológica en el seguimiento y acompañamiento de jóvenes en estos procesos; Como resultado, se concluye que las competencias generales de este profesional pueden aplicarse en diversos contextos, incluida la rehabilitación. En el contexto educativo el espacio con participación activa de psicólogos educativos es el Departamento de Consejería Estudiantil (DECE) uno de los ejes de trabajo es el seguimiento que garantiza la continuidad del apoyo durante todo los procesos y, por medio del cual, se realiza una articulación efectiva entre las instituciones educativas y los centros de rehabilitación, este aspecto permite discernir que, además del apoyo emocional y social el punto crucial de su accionar es la coordinación interinstitucional para garantizar derechos. De esta manera, se reafirma su contribución esencial en la recuperación y desarrollo integral de los adolescentes en rehabilitación.
In the context of the rehabilitation of adolescents due to drug use within the educational process, actions of follow-up and accompaniment are carried out; however, the role of the professional in charge within this process is not clearly defined, since the necessary competencies to perform adequately are not precisely identified. This situation motivated the present research, whose objective was to analyze the function of the specialist in psychological education in the follow-up and accompaniment of young people in these processes. As a result, it is concluded that the general competencies of this professional can be applied in various contexts, including rehabilitation. In the educational context, the space with active participation of educational psychologists is the Student Counseling Department (DECE), one of the axes of work being follow-up that guarantees the continuity of support throughout all processes and, through which, an effective articulation between educational institutions and rehabilitation centers is carried out. This aspect allows discerning that, besides emotional and social support, the crucial point of their action is interinstitutional coordination to guarantee rights. In this way, their essential contribution to the recovery and integral development of adolescents in rehabilitation is reaffirmed.
