Resumen
La desinformación en adolescentes de la comunidad San Francisco de la Rinconada, ha favorecido al incremento de las infecciones de transmisión sexual (ITS), así como el fortalecimiento de tabúes relacionados con la sexualidad. Esta problemática genera preocupación, debido a la falta de información adecuada y culturalmente pertinente a la que no acceden los jóvenes de la comunidad. En este contexto, se plantea como objetivo la implementación de un taller de educación sexual dirigido a aproximadamente 100 adolescentes, entre 15 y 17 años, pertenecientes a la comunidad indígena. La intervención está orientada a abordar el desconocimiento sobre las ITS, sus mecanismos de transmisión y las estrategias de prevención. La necesidad de este taller se evidencia por la prevalencia de ITS. Esta propuesta se desarrolló bajo un enfoque mixto, de carácter de campo y con un nivel exploratorio-descriptivo para la recolección de información. Se aplico encuestas para evaluar los conocimientos previos de los adolescentes sobre las ITS. Como resultado del análisis se4+4+ evidenció importantes vacíos en temas de prevención. A partir de esto, se diseñó e implementó un taller teórico-didáctico, adaptado a su realidad social, cultural y emocional. Como conclusión después de la implementación, del taller, se evidenció un incremento en los niveles conocimientos, participación y apertura de los adolescentes, promoviendo cambios positivos en actitudes frente a la salud sexual.
Misinformation among adolescents in the San Francisco de la Rinconada community has led to an increase in sexually transmitted diseases and reinforced taboos related to sexuality. This problem is cause for concern due to the lack of adequate and culturally relevant information available to young people in the community. In this context, the objective is to implement a sex education workshop for approximately one hundred adolescents between the ages of 15 and 17 who belong to the Indigenous community. The intervention is aimed at addressing ignorance about STIs, their transmission mechanisms, and prevention strategies. The need for this workshop is clear from the prevalence of STDs. This proposal was developed using a mixed approach, field-based and exploratory-descriptive in nature, for the collection of information. Surveys were conducted to assess the adolescents' prior knowledge of STDs. The analysis revealed significant gaps in prevention issues. Based on this, a theoretical-didactic workshop was designed and implemented, adapted to their social, cultural, and emotional reality. After the workshop was implemented, there was an increase in the adolescents' knowledge, participation, and openness, promoting positive changes in attitudes toward sexual health.
