Resumen
El trabajo de investigación titulado "Diagnóstico Educativo para la Actualización de la Oferta Académica de las Carreras de Grado de la Universidad de Otavalo" propone una metodología para diagnosticar la oferta académica. Su objetivo principal es diagnosticar la oferta académica de las carreras que se ejecutan en las facultades de la Universidad de Otavalo. El estudio busca generar conocimiento para abordar los desafíos de la educación superior frente a los cambios en el mercado laboral, los avances tecnológicos y los estándares de calidad internacional. Se emplea una metodología de enfoque mixto, combinando técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas. En la primera etapa, se recopila información detallada sobre la situación actual de las carreras de grado a través de entrevistas. En la segunda etapa, se diseñan un marco teórico basadas en el diagnóstico inicial, integrando innovaciones en pedagogía, tecnología y sostenibilidad. Los objetivos específicos incluyen establecer un marco teórico para la evaluación educativa, desarrollar un marco metodológico alineadas con los parámetros del Consejo de Aseguramiento de la Calidad de la Educación Superior (CACES) y presentar los resultados obtenidos del diagnóstico de la oferta académica de la Universidad de Otavalo. La investigación destaca la importancia de alinear la oferta académica con los estándares de calidad, incorporando innovaciones pedagógicas y tecnológicas para responder a las demandas contemporáneas.
ABSTRACT The research work titled "Educational Diagnosis for Updating the Academic Offering of the Degree Courses of the University of Otavalo" proposes a methodology to diagnose the academic offer. Its main objective is to diagnose the academic offering of the courses offered in the faculties of the University of Otavalo. The study seeks to generate knowledge to address the challenges of higher education in the face of changes in the labor market, technological advances and international quality standards. A mixed approach methodology is used, combining quantitative and qualitative techniques. In the first stage, detailed information about the current situation of undergraduate courses is collected through interviews. In the second stage, a theoretical framework is designed based on the initial diagnosis, integrating innovations in pedagogy, technology and sustainability. The specific objectives include establishing a theoretical framework for educational evaluation, developing a methodological framework aligned with the parameters of the Council for Quality Assurance of Higher Education (CACES) and presenting the results obtained from the diagnosis of the academic offer of the University of Otavalo. The research highlights the importance of aligning academic offerings with quality standards, incorporating pedagogical and technological innovations to respond to contemporary demands.
