ABSTRACT Specific learning disorders are a condition that affects academic, intellectual and educational abilities, and together they correspond to a relatively new classification, which includes difficulties in reading, writing and mathematics. The timely identification and adequate treatment of these difficulties by specialists allows a comprehensive approach to other emotional and behavioral problems that may accompany these disorders. During early childhood, warning signs may appear in neurodevelopment that correspond to Specific Learning Disorders. Providing a global and current look at recent advances and useful information for the adequate professional performance of those who daily provide support to children early is the objective of this chapter. By stimulating each area of development and counting on the family as the main basis in this process, the educators and caregivers in charge may also show some difficulty in their development. To do this, it is important to have accurate information that allows you to better guide the child and his or her environment based on an appropriate procedure.
