Resumen
Esta investigación presenta una propuesta basada en la aplicación de las TIC en el ámbito educativo con el objetivo de desarrollar la comprensión lectora enfocada en estudiantes de seis y siete años en segundo grado de educación básica en la Unidad Educativa EFRATA localizada en Quito, durante el año escolar 2022-2023. Durante el aislamiento debido al COVID-19, los maestros se vieron obligados a usar herramientas tecnológicas para dictar sus clases, siendo así, que logran evidenciar que a los estudiantes no les atrae leer en libros físicos, pero si prefieren leer y aprender a través de juegos interactivos mediante el uso de la tecnología. Por esta razón, la metodología usada para el desarrollo de la propuesta es de tipo experimental de campo por la cual se puede representar todo el proceso de investigación involucrado en la recopilación y análisis de datos cuantitativos y cualitativos. Para extraer la información, la técnica de encuesta fue aplicada a una población de 15 profesores. La
aplicación de la encuesta presenta el conocimiento de los quince docentes sobre las TICS y su asertividad al uso de las mismas en la escuela como una nueva estrategia metodológica. La observación directa a 27 estudiantes, por medio de actividades interactivas y herramientas tecnológicas. Se descubrió que estas herramientas muestran otro punto de vista en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en el proceso lector, motivando a los estudiantes a mejorar en el ámbito lector, permitiendo un buen desarrollo.
ABSTRACT This research presents a proposal based on the application of ICT in the educational field with the objective of developing reading comprehension focused on students of six and seven years old in second grade of basic education in the EFRATA Educational Unit located in Quito, during the 2022-2023 school year. During the isolation due to COVID-19, teachers were forced to use technological tools to teach their classes, thus, they were able to demonstrate that students are not attracted to read in physical books, but they prefer to read and learn through interactive games using technology. For this reason, the methodology used for the development of the proposal is of the field experimental type by which the entire research process involved in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data can be represented. To extract the information, the survey technique was applied to a population of 15 teachers. The application of the survey presents the knowledge of the fifteen teachers about ICTs and their assertiveness to the use of ICTs in the school as a new methodological strategy. Direct observation of 27 students, through interactive activities and technological tools. It was discovered that these tools show another point of view in the teaching-learning process in the reading process, motivating students to improve in the reading field, allowing a good development.
